- Q499 · October 16, 2026 UpdatedQ. What does "Begin a battle [...] and only perform the damage step" mean?A. Begin a battle between the two Units specified by this effect and perform the damage step. Do not perform the attack step, block step, or action step at this time. Like a normal battle, the Units deal damage to each other, and after resolving all triggered effects you advance to the battle end step before returning to the main phase.

- Q501 · October 16, 2026 UpdatedQ. When I destroy an enemy Unit in a battle initiated by this 【When Linked】 effect, does that fall within the criterion "when this Unit destroys an enemy Unit with battle damage"?A. Yes, it does.
