How 【When Linked】 works
Pairing any Pilot puts it under a Unit; the Unit becomes a Link Unit only when that Pilot satisfies the Unit's printed link condition — a named character or a trait. 【When Linked】 fires at the moment that happens: the right Pilot lands on the right Unit.
It's a one-shot trigger tied to the pairing event, unlike 【During Link】 which is a continuous state. The reward is paid for deck-building discipline — you only get it by actually running the Pilots the Unit asks for.
