How Suppression works

When a Unit with <Suppression> deals attack damage to shields, that damage hits the first two cards of the shield area simultaneously instead of just the top one. Each successful shield attack effectively costs the opponent double protection — six shields become three attacks' worth.

Playing with and against it

Suppression halves the number of connected attacks a defender can absorb, which warps their blocking math: letting a Suppression attack through is twice as expensive, so they're pushed into blocking it even when the block is bad. That makes Suppression strongest alongside effects that punish blocks or make the attacker hard to block. Defending against it, prioritize stopping the attack entirely — trading shields with a Suppression deck is a losing race.
