How Repair works

At the end of your turn, a Unit with <Repair> heals the listed amount of damage it has taken (it can't go above its printed HP). It triggers only at the end of your own turn — damage taken during the opponent's turn stays on the Unit until your turn ends, so a Repair Unit can still be finished off before the heal ever happens.

Effects can grant additional Repair instances — official rulings confirm a Unit can hold its printed <Repair> and a granted <Repair: 1> at the same time.

Playing with and against it

Repair turns chip damage into nothing: a big body with <Blocker> and <Repair> resets between turns, forcing the opponent to deal lethal damage in a single swing rather than over two. To beat it, commit to killing the Unit in one battle phase — split damage across turns is exactly what the keyword is designed to erase.
