How 【Pilot】 effects work

A 【Pilot】 marker on a card — most often a Command — means the card can be treated as the named Pilot: paired under a Unit, granting the listed stats and satisfying link conditions the same way a dedicated PILOT card would, including trait-based link requirements (an official-data pattern this database models directly: pilot-effect Commands carry their own trait and can link trait-gated Units).

These dual-purpose cards are deck-building glue: a Command you can cast for its effect early, or commit as a Pilot when your key Unit needs to link. Counting them in your Pilot total is how link-hungry decks keep their curve honest.
