How 【Main】 works

【Main】 marks an effect you can use during your own Main phase — the part of your turn where you deploy Units, pair Pilots, and set up before attacking. Command cards with 【Main】 are your proactive plays: buffs before combat, removal to clear blockers, resource effects.

The timing is the restriction: 【Main】 effects can't be used during battles or on the opponent's turn. If a card matters mid-combat, it needs 【Action】 timing instead — that difference is most of the skill in choosing Command suites.
